March 15 Deer Island Sleep Over

"Have just finished my diary notes. Full of superlatives and memories. Spirit and I loved the voyage. So many encounters with elemental delights. Salt in the air, bird song, moist breezes and laughter. Other travelers with their own tales made me aware of the community around "Mi Casa". March 14 Genivive Housen & Family

"My family and I came to Mazatlan for Spring Break. We all really enjoyed the sailing. It was a facinating experience especially to see Mazatlan from the ocean. It was also a very peaceful experience and we learned alot about sailing and the culture here in Mexico. The city will remain stronger in my memory because I know more about Mazatlan" Michelle Housen

March 5 2008 "Los Moneros"

"Los Moneros"(cartoonists of mexico)are in town for the Feliart and take their annual trip on the mi casa....Morgan Duffy & Aric Christensen from the Denver Symphony join in the festivities of the day on the private deck above. Reid & Cathy Nehring are happily suprized to be spending the day with Rius,Helio Flores, Sergio, & Faustino Lopez Osuna.

Feb 29th Nora, Omer, Dale, Chris & Neil

Dale joins the crew and takes the helm for our entire trip...and finds the wind conditions to be ideal for cutting through the waves...Nora & Omer enjoy their time with nature....Chris & Neil keep Cpt. Eduardos stories coming with questions about the histories of the sea of cortez.
